If you are a single parent and you are not going to school, then you will need to look at some other programs to make ends meet. Food stamps, while not a grant, are a program offered by the government that provides food assistance for people who can’t afford groceries. There are also various government welfare programs you can look into.
Also considering working a part time job to help supplement your income. Now if you can’t work a part time job because of time issues, consider a part time work-at-home job.
